This uses an alternate idea for setting the structure alignments. Lets see if this silents the ARM builder cast alignment issues. GSlice (which is what is used for GObjects) guarantees a 2-pointer size allocation, which means we can be ensured that the alignment is at least 8 bytes.
Sysprof is a sampling profiler that uses a kernel module to generate
stacktraces which are then interpreted by the userspace program
"sysprof".

Debugging symbols
- The programs and libraries you want to profile should be compiled
with -fno-omit-frame-pointer and have debugging symbols available,
or you won't get much usable information.
